After days of coordinating visa's, flights and connections in Toronto, Vancouver, San Francisco, Houston, New York, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro it all came together successfully today. Even with some unexpected changes that inspired a quick shuffle so Sol, Mos Def's manager and his DJ could all stay the night in Rio to get Mos and his crew to Salvador tomorrow. Meanwhile we continued on with MV Bill and crew to the amazing city of Salvador.

After settling in to the hotel we headed out for dinner in Pelourinho (the charming old city with narrow cobble stone streets, colonial architecture and vibrant street life). After a great meal and a couple of Caparinhos we headed back to the hotel and kicked it with MV Bill. It's great to be back in Brazil!!!
